Shoe-string cruises, you’re having a laugh!
Having a giggle with all the family without breaking the bank – that’s all many of us want from a holiday. Gone are the days when you could only find this on the Costa del Sol, now you can find family fun at pocket pleasing prices all over the world on many cruise lines.
Almost all-inclusive
This is one of the best features of cruising! For many cruise lines the price you see already includes your flight, transfers, accommodation, on-ship entertainment, activities and meals in most of the on-board restaurants. This means you only have to fork out for meals in speciality restaurants (and even then that’s normally only a small cover charge), drinks, spa treatments, shopping, casinos and shore excursions. So in many cases, cruises are cheaper than land-based holidays.
Fun in the sun
Fancy letting your hair down and having a ball? Then hop aboard Thomson & Island Cruises, Carnival Cruises or NCL.
NCL have really got fun down to a tee. Go bowling on the first alleys at sea, play Nintendo Wii on a two-storey high screen, there’s a rock climbing wall, tennis courts, excellent kids’ clubs, waterslides, hot tubs and cool pools. And if you’ve still got energy left, there’s up to 20 bars on every ship so you can drink and dance the night away. Phew!
If you would prefer a quieter cruise holiday Thomson & Island ships aren’t necessarily as packed wall-to-wall with features but there’s still plenty of ways to have fun on board. Each evening you’ll find a choice of side-splitting comedy, live bands and cabaret shows whilst your days are spent bubbling in the spas or finding your feet in salsa classes.
Carnival Cruises show you a great time on board with waterslides and a cool splash zone, exciting stage shows and heaps of kids’ activities from video games and karaoke to finger painting and cartoons. So whichever cruise line you choose, you’ll find non-stop fun without going in the red.
